Why Omay Started

A snack born from a

real, personal challenge.

Omay Foods began with a simple, personal challenge. Our founder, Vijay, spent years as a corporate professional, travelling extensively for work — early flights, long meetings, packed schedules. When hunger struck, the quickest snack was rarely the healthiest, and over time, it took a toll.

That realization sparked an idea: what if snacking could be just as convenient, but made with better ingredients and real care?

Inspired by traditional roasting techniques from Rajasthan, Omay was born — snacks that are nutritious, free from additives and preservatives, and easy to carry wherever life takes you.

The Method

How every Omay snack is made.

Four steps. No exceptions. Same process, every single batch, since day one.

Locally Sourced Ingredients

Every Omay snack begins with carefully selected grains, pulses, nuts, seeds, and whole spices sourced from trusted Indian suppliers. Every batch is chosen to meet our standards for quality, freshness, and safety.

Salt Roasted, Never Fried

Using Rajasthan's traditional salt-roasting technique, our snacks are roasted by heating salt at high temperatures, instead of being deep fried. This time-honoured process delivers natural crunch while preserving the goodness of every ingredient.

Seasoned with Real Masalas

Once the roasting is done, the snacks are hand-graded and blended with authentic Indian spices only. We never use any artificial flavours, additives, or preservatives of any kind.

Sealed & Shipped

Once ready, every batch is packed in airtight jars and pouches to lock in freshness and flavour. This careful packaging keeps our snacks deliciously crisp for up to six months.
